The second session of this year's Hypergrid international Expo was the French part, once again three presentations on three different themes.

Minord Loup peeps out at the crowd during Nadir Rae's talk |
We began with the beautiful Nadir Rae who gave a talk called 'Once Upon a Time' in which she outlined her virtual story. It took her four different tries in opensim to finally feel comfortable here, and now she is a fixture, with her work on grid Ignis Fatuus together with her companion, grid owner Max Well. Her slideshow was a sort of magical photo album of some of the best loved sims on Ignis Fatuus, a truly magnificent place for anyone who loves high quality art in opensim.
Nadir's talk was followed by the absolutely breathtaking display by Morlita M and Cherry Manga, "Dual Wave". Even the tables came to life during this show.

The magnificent combination of Morlita's sound symphony and Cherry's imagery immersed us all in the art. Yes, there's a video - but, being there was a really special thing.

Unmissable art. |
Last but by no means least was a fascinating dive into opensim Theater with Tristan Dehaie, who explained how he and his troupe of actors and stagehands were able to put on a production of the radio play 'Et l'oeuf engendra la poule' on grid SV3D. It was so interesting hearing all the challenges they had to overcome to make this event possible, and good to know they plan on doing even more plays, reaching out to an international audience.
